Tony Bass of Super Lawn Trucks, Inc. Appointed to The University of Georgia SBDC Network Advisory Council
Athens, Ga. The University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network recently appointed Tony Bass to their statewide Advisory Council. A graduate of UGA, Mr. Bass (BSA 87) is the owner of Super Lawn Trucks, Inc. in Fort Valley, Georgia. His experience as an entrepreneur will be valuable to the business assistance organization in ensuring that services and operations are both productive and efficient.
The Georgia SBDC Network is a public service unit of The University of Georgia and a business assistance provider for the U.S. Small Business Administration. Through a network of 17 offices strategically located throughout the state, a wide range of educational opportunities are provided for small business owners, potential entrepreneurs, and community leadership organizations. These educational opportunities are delivered through direct business consulting, business training classes, and applied research studies. Specialized services for minority businesses and those interested in international trade are also available.
The Advisory Council is made up of individuals from around the state who represent small businesses or who have an interest in the problems faced by small businesses. The Advisory Council provides important feedback on programs and services provided to the business community of Georgia, as well as providing fresh perspectives and new ideas.
