“Thanksgiving Traditions”

(Inspired during a quiet morning in the deer stand)
On a misty morning hunting day,
The dawn breaks soft, the clouds give way.
Fields of frost and trees of gold,
Nature’s splendor, a joy to behold.
Pause for Thanksgiving, reflect on the year,
The struggles, the triumphs, the reasons for cheer.
The work of our hands, the earth we’ve shaped,
The dreams we’ve planted, the paths yet paved.
Loving the adventure of landscaper’s art,
Each blade of grass, a piece of the heart.
Designing gardens with sweat and care,
Creating spaces for others to share.
The smell of fresh mulch, the whispering pines,
The rhythm of seasons, the joy it defines.
This calling we follow, with purpose, we strive,
Keeps the fire of entrepreneurship alive.
As families gather and blessings are told,
We give thanks for our clients, both new and old.
For the freedom to build, to work, and to play,
On a misty morning hunting day.
So, lift up your hearts, and let gratitude ring,
For the life we’ve chosen and the grace it brings.
Pause for Thanksgiving, let’s honor our trade,
For the families built and the landscapes we’ve made.
